Polish Official Calls For Expansion of Ties With Iran

TEHRAN The visiting Head of Iran-Poland Parliamentary Friendship Group Zdzislaw Kalamaga here Monday called for further expansion of Tehran-Warsaw relations. He made the remark in a meeting with Head of the Plan and Budget Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis), Mehdi Rabbani Amlashi. Referring to the current level of Iran-Poland trade exchanges as low, Amlashi voiced Tehran's readiness to expand trade and economic cooperation with Warsaw. The Islamic Republic of Iran has paved the way for investment of friendly countries including Poland in the country.
As to Iran's great potentials, the Iranian parliamentarian also called for an increase in the two countries' bilateral trade exchanges. The Polish parliamentary delegation arrived here Monday on a five-day visit. (IRNA)
